Dawn of a new blog

Hello fellow shamans and wow players! I'm Xaalius and this is my first time blogging, so bear with me. I just got back from a trip out in China, so I'm still a little groggy from jet lagg. I'll do what I can.

So I was leveling my horde shaman in zul'drak when I stopped to think about what a shaman actually is. If you think about it, the real word defination of a shaman is something like a savage priest. Yet, in world of warcraft, we tear the place apart with lightining bolts, earthquakes and the like.

Thank god I don't play a priest. For lore reasons the damn things are just terrible. Name three bad ass priests from lore off the top of your head. I didn't think so. Yet shamans have loads of lore bombs waiting to go off. The warchief of the horde is a shaman, for god's sake.

I don't know about you, but I remember the reason I got hooked on the shaman; those level 1 mobs fell to my lightining bolt like Japan to Godzilla.

How does the shaman since make sense (or not make sense) to you? Can you come up with a reason why I shouldn't be slamming priests? (I don't think I've ever rolled one. They always seemed so wimpy to me. Which is funny considering I'm a healer.)
